I’ve never recreated one of my paintings. I just haven’t had much desire to revisit something I’ve already done, but I really liked the concept behind the first piece I made of a woman using a knife as a guide for her eyeliner, so I decided to keep that idea while changing everything else.
 
A different woman, different clothing, different hair, and even a different knife.
 
Even though it’s a completely different person, it feels a little like having an old friend back with me for a bi
